Sister Sydnie Nielson,  (Kellybrook Ward) recently returned from serving 18 months in the Colorado Denver South Mission.

“I was struggling at one point and didn’t see much joy in my mission,” Sis Nielsen said. “I also had problems sleeping at this time. My mission president said I should read the Book of Mormon when I couldn’t sleep. In that two months I read the BOM five or six times, and it changed my perspective. The characters came to life and they were more like my friends. Just like the story of King Lamoni in the Book of Mormon, I realized I would give all I could to know know. I offered up my heart to him to know my Savior Jesus Christ.”
